From Spencer: 

Looking at ConvFit with Vicky we noticed that single spectrum fit doesn’t save the components like sequential.
That is, needs      OutputCompositeMembers=True,   ConvolveMembers=True

  • Perform a ConvFit selecting the "Fit Single Spectrum" option
  • Open the matrix view for the "*_Workspace" workspace
  • Notice the components (e.g. LinearBackground, Convolution) are listed
