This is very similar to #1404, although this ticket possibly includes the required changes to filefinder to allow a seperator character (_ for SNS, nothing for ISIS) to be used in the filename. The character should be specified in the facilities.xml file.
Janik was volunteered to do this in the iteration review meeting.
Roman Tolchenov is the most knowledgeable developer about the interface and filefinder.

You can now enter things like ... SEQ12345, SEQUOIA12345 or 12345 (which will use you default instrument)
