(In [7653]) Refs #1959: getIntegratedSpectra() function implemented for MatrixWorkspace and overloaded for EventWorkspace to be the most efficient possible; parallelized.

this is being used in the Instrument3DWidget in MantidPlot. looks like it works ok. currently no unit test for it though

Good point - I made a ticket #2092 to add the unit test.
