Description

Roll out the use of the instrument validator created in #2105 to relevant algorithms. Two are AlignDetectors and ConvertUnits. There are others.

In fact, there are (rare) cases where ConvertUnits does not need an instrument.

(In [8256]) Improve CuboidGaugeVolumeAbsorptionTest. Fixes #1834, also re #1916. Also added InstrumentValidator to base AbsorptionCorrection class - Re #2110.
