Issues with Progress reporting

Description

Sometimes the progress widget is showing green colour with 100% indicator even if no algorithms running.Sometimes the indicator is at the start and not progressing ,waiting for longer time.

Seems to work. No Algorithms explicitly stated to cause problems, and impossible to verify all.

i) Verified that changeset incorporates explicit setting of start and end progress.

ii) Verified that progress reports correctly for loading of large files.
