Plot not being updated on workspace update

Description

From Winfried: I’m running our usual GEM script which produces some default work-space names which I can plot. Running the script again overwrites the workspaces, and the plot used to be updated. Now this second run kills the plot

Also works for me e.g. with Rebin.
