MuonAnalysis: Change 'Load current run'

Reported by: Anders Markvardsen Owned by: Anders Markvardsen
Priority: major Milestone: Iteration 29
Component: MantidPlot Keywords:
Cc: Blocked By:
Blocking: Tester: Martyn Gigg

Description

Hitting the Load current run button reads data from DAE.

Change this behaviour to instead look for a specific file as detailed below

E.G. for EMU. In the directory
emu\data you will find:

EMUauto_A.tmp EMUauto_B.tmp EMUauto_C.tmp EMUauto_D.tmp EMUauto_E.tmp autosave.run

Where autosave.run contains the name of the file most recently fully stored.

Change Load Current Run to read this file, which is a Nexus file. This applies for all the Muon instruments apart from ARGUS, where the special case of ARGUS has already been dealt with

Change History

  • Status changed from new to accepted

To test:

1) On an ISIS machine open MuonAnalysis 2) Select e.g. MUSR at the top-left 3) Hit the Load current run button

You should either see a plot appear or message saying that can find some file if server is down. When MUSR you should also not see a message something like 'grouping not defined in nexus file'.

Verified that hitting 'Load current run' for all of the muon instruments successfully loads and plots data. MUSR did not come up with a message about missing grouping data.
