Disabling the button isn't possible at present as the objects don't 'know' about each other. That's quite likely to change with work I do under #7546. The best you can do right now is return an error as soon as the 'Send cluster' button is pressed.

SliceViewer resizeEvent change to protected. Refs #7738

Swithched to Ubuntu 13.10, with gcc 4.8.1. Could not compile because sip complained that resizeEvent is private. Changed it to protected
