ChangeBinOffset side-effect when on WorkspaceGroup

Reported by: Anders Markvardsen Owned by: Anders Markvardsen
Priority: major Milestone: Release 3.3
Component: Framework Keywords:
Cc: Blocked By:
Blocking: Tester: Federico M Pouzols

Description (last modified by Anders Markvardsen) (diff)

Load any data containing periods, e.g. Musr00015189, which is in the AutoTestData directory.

Then run ChangeBinOffset algorithm on this group.

This produces three entries in the MantidPlot Workspaces window:

  1. The modified WorkspaceGroup
  2. and as a side-effect also a Workspace2D for each period (two in this case)

Make sure only 1. gets outputted when this algorithm is applied on a WorkspaceGroup

  • Status changed from assigned to verify
  • Resolution set to worksforme
  • Description modified (diff)

This now appears to work.

E.g. do

  1. Open musr00015189
  1. run changebinoffset on this group workspace

and it down correctly just creates a new group workspace

It does work for me too. I tested it on Windows 7 and GNU/Linux (Debian).

No code or documentation changes seem to be required.
