Problems with Mantid development versions

Description

Hi,

Aziz and I ran into problems with Aziz' script for GEM and HRPD.

It works with the 20 Oct development version, but crashed with the latest development version. Among other things, the read Nexus format doesn't work anymore.

I now wanted to install the latest Mantid development version (5 November) on a different PC in order to demonstrate the behaviour. However, after installation I can execute the Python scripts anymore. I tried installation on two different PCs but run into the same problem.

Assumed OK: this was a long time ago and there haven't been any more complaints about this since the fix.
