Migrate the stylesheets to using SASS or LESS.

Write up documentation to explain how to use the CSS pre-processors and update the installation instructions to include settings up django-static-precompiler.

The amount of CSS required wasn't as much as I had anticipated. Migrating to LESS/SASS at this point would just introduce unneeded complexity for those unfamiliar.
