Reimplement the splatterplot source as a true source and not a filter.

Description

Currently the splatterplot is a filter and not a source, but unlike a true filter in ParaView it gets its data not from an underlying source but rather externally. To be consistent with the pipeline model of ParaView, it would make sense to have the splatterplot filter turned into a true source plugin.
