Crashes when running algroithms on groups that should have failed validation

Description

The following causes Mantidplot to terminate because the workspaces in EVS13895 are not distributions

LoadRaw('EVS13895.raw', 'EVS13895') ConvertFromDistribution('EVS13895')

I've seen this with other algorithms too, it seems that the validators are being bypassed.

Crash should be fixed, though there are still display issues (in the specific example given the group appears empty in the browser, though the workspaces are still there).

Follow-up ticket #1178 created to resolve the display issues.
