Sliceviewer crash when try to draw cut line from matrixworkspace

Description

To reproduce:

  1. Load for example
    isis\inst$\NDXPOLREF\Instrument\data\cycle_13_1\POLREF00008481.nxs
  1. run ConvertSpectrumAxis on the loaded workspace above into a new outputworkspace. For Target select e.g. Theta and EMode select e.g. Direct in ConvertSpectrumAxis input dialog
  1. Open Slice Viewer and select 'Draw a 1D cut line' button and on 2D plot try a draw a cut line.

The result of this is that MantidPlot freeze and after about 30 seconds on my Windows machine pop up with caught an unexpected exception: bad allocation
