Fix crash when too few detectors listed in idlist of IDF

Description

When too few detectors listed in instrument definition file MantidPlot does not exit properly.

Also check output better error message when idlist is missing.

tested on svn 4799

Tested by commenting out an entire idlist and a section of an idlist on GEM.
