Instrument geometry cache doesn't work with the RPM

Description
The instrument cache is written to the location of the IDF files and this is not writable on Linux by default. Change to location of managed workspaces for all systems.
On windows update installer to remove old vtp files from the instrument directory for future installs so that there is no confusion about them.
