Rescaling plots, adding a new plot and options

Description

When adding a new graph to an existing plot ensure that the rescaling is good for displaying the data. Richard Heenan also talked about creating an option not to rescale.

Sans group has not expressed concerns over plotting multiple histogram in the same plot for at least a couple of years, and this is something they do now frequently, including plots now good rescaling hence worksforme
