Description

An alpha parameter measure the efficiency between two groups of detectors. Understand in more details how alpha can be calculated (or guessed using UDA language). Perhaps excisting efficiency algorithms in Mantid (none muon instruments) can be (partially) used?

According to Steve can to a first approximation calculate this by from first-good-bin sum up forward and backward histograms and then estimate alpha to sum of forward / sum of backward.

I think I understand the methodology, but a more detailed explanation next time would be nice for those not up to speed on the particular analysis.
