Description

In order to make event filtering more useful to people at SNS add an algorithm that will read in the log files that they provide (see attached example). The first column is the number of seconds since January 1, 1990, then the other columns (space delimited) are the log values. The user will need to provide names and units for the other columns as well as a workspace to attach the logs to.

This sounds very like the text log format that we use here at ISIS.

Would it be possible to get the user to edit the file to add the log file names to the top of the file? or is that a step too far in usability?

I think we could expand LoadLog to handle this format if that were the case, otherwise we will have to create a new algorithm.
