Instrument view calls crash MantidPlot when performed from the detector diagnostic results dialog

Description

To reproduce:

  • Click on the ConvertToEnergy interface menu item;
  • Enter the details as shown in the attached image (the data is in AutoTestData);
  • Click to the normalisation tab and uncheck 'Perform Normalisation';
  • Click back to the first tab and hit run;
  • Once complete a dialog with the diagnostic results will appear, click on any of the 'View' buttons and an instrument window will be created;
  • Clicking anywhere within the rendered area results in a crash;

(In [8997]) Fix for the crash that occurred when clicking on a 'View' button on the detector diagnostics results dialog. In fact this happened with any Python call that used the showWindow command. That has now been deprecated and the correct event handler implemented so that show() works. Re #2315
