What are good meaningful names (1-30 characters) to identify the two detector bank arrangements?

There are now two instrument definitions files for LOQ both with dates in their names. Which is used on loading a file depends on the file's date so old data like LOQ54431.raw (in the data directory) should use a different instrument definition from something newer.
