IMDDimension: move out methods that have no business there

Description

Several methods in IMDDimension are only there because they are needed by Alex's MDDimension, and so should be removed. MDImage etc. should just use its calls to MDDimension objects directly.

Hard to test. But as Iteration 28 tickets need to be closed and VATES is not in the build kit I am closing this ticket.
