Winfried needs these for a training course tomorrow so we'll have to fix it. Luckily it seems that simply upgrading the Qwt library fixes the issue with the screen reader crashing although the data reader still doesn't work.

What effect does this have for our supported linux versions that don't have this new a QWT ? Is there a recipe to test it ?
comment:9 Changed 9 years ago by Martyn Gigg
The problem didn't seem to show itself on our linux versions but to test:
- Create a plot
- Go to the "Data->Data Reader" menu item and no crash should occur
- Then go to "Data->Screen Reader" menu item and hover over the plot. It should display the
- coordinates.

When I got to Data->Data Reader it doesn't crash, but the data disappears. It reappears once I select Data->Screen Reader.
I will pass this one as it doesn't crash, but I'll create a ticket for the disappearing data.
