Fix reporting of test crashes in buildserver email header

Description

When a test crashes (as opposed to 'just' failing), the linux buildserver reports this as a failure of the test build. The Windows buildserver doesn't pick up the failure at all. This should be rectified - apparently the place where the test output is parsed is in sendEmail.py.

(In [1779]) Modify buildserver script to report that tests failed if there is a crash (n.b. this change also means that it will report a failure if a test includes output containing a linefeed). Also fixed FileValidatorTest. Re #279.
