I've made a rough cut quick start guide for the simple interface here. It's not connected to the ? buttons since keeping two sets of docs up to date is horrible. More documentation is necessary, so further detailed tickets should address this.

Wiki page available for Simple User Interface. Good level of detail for now, also has complimentary screenshots. Agreed that more documentation should be generated (as and when) under a new set of tickets.
