Space priority for view in simple GUI

Description

Reclaim larger portion of screen for views. Default set-up for prototype does not use enough of the window for the rendering view. Squeeze other controls on the screen if necessary to increase the size of the view(s).

Note that this is not the last-word on the screen layout, this functionality will have to be reviewed after exposure to users.

I think we can look to remove the need for the pipeline and filter details controls at all by replacing them with a few custom controls. eg. scale man, min, and colour scale selection, and rebin controls.

Views now nicely occupy a much greater aspect of the hosting window. Also scales with window resizing.
