Switch view for views needing accept doesn't work.

Description

During the view mode switching, the original system to check which views needed an explicit accept call doesn't seem to be working anymore. One should be found that does not rely on knowing the inheriting class for the view.

I've tried quite hard to break this and I can't. All view seem to handle accept calls, including when there are outstanding changes nicely upon switching.
