The graphics part of the instrument window does not go behind the active window.

version 1.31.15022

To reproduce:

  • Bring up the instrument window
  • Bring up a non-python interface (e.g. Step Scan Analysis)
  • Make sure neither are 'floating' windows

Unfortunately it can still happen in certain circumstances: If you start up one of the non-python interfaces & have neither that nor the instrument window 'floating' then the problem shows up.

Still valid, but with better description. Seems to be happening on quite a few tickets that the description is poor.
