Description
The top widgets (mode control and time controls) in the main view of the simple interface should be reduced in size. This makes more room for the views and more room for some coming additions.

Open any MD dataset/workspace in either the standalone or MantidPlot simple interface. Compare the new layout to the old in the attached picture.
