A curve fitting function DeltaFunction of category Peak exists, but does not have a unit test.

DeltaFunction has no documentation in the wiki, just a blank placeholder.

A look at the code shows that this fit function does nothing useful.

There is a unit test for this function. However, the function itself leaves a lot to be desired: #7074.
