I talked to Tim Charlton about this, and apparently, SURF scientists/users do not use Mantid. Anyway, I invited the instrument scientists for this instrument to help us generate some system tests. Their response is below.

"Hi Owen, At the moment we are not using Mantid on SURF. I think that Max may be doing so on Inter?? Cheers, Arwel "

This means that all that is required for this ticket is to check that we can load up their various file formats into Mantid.
