Description
A severe bug has appeared in the last release within “calib†of the C2E tab for indirect spec.
When calculating the res file mantid wants now that the background is taken over the whole energy range Before one could use e.g. -0.6 - -0.5 meV just a range to define the background as it is done in tof for the calib file. This large range seems to have consequences for the res file, because it is now negative away from the elastic range!!! It seems to subtract too much now. And negative values in the resolution file makes conv fit and Fourier trafo more than doubtful or unuseable.
This was introduced within the last release and needs fixing with high priority.
Thanks,
franz Demmel
Derek,
Please work on this with Martyn / Anders

one can choose arbitrary ranges indeed. The ranges affect resolution file base.
