While the catalogue searching "Works", the default values set for the fields in Mantid are very annoying. The interface does not feel logical. For example, the run start and run end numbers seem both to default to 0. Therefore I get zero results back when doing a keyword search, because It's using hidden values, which I did not set and cannot see.

I'm sure this is at the bottom priority of things to fix, but It might make excellent work for the next set of students we get.

Apart from the new ticket raised against the next release surrounding printing. Everything seems to work okay.

Tested on Windows 7 64-bit.

I raised #8307 as a result of testing "Save/Load Nexus". Added additional details to existing ticket re 3D Plot. Barring that, I can't find anything amiss.

Some testing of the functionality has been performed, but I've got some other things to look at, and not all features have made it to release yet, so I'm going to have to return this to the testing pool.

Test environment: Windows 7 64bit
Windows installer 3.2.20141205.1835

No crashes or blocker issues found.

I checked GUI interaction in general and the specific points in functional area group 1. Did Load/Write cycles with different files and formats, checking with CheckWorkspacesMatch.

Issues found:

  • I could reproduce #8307: saving/loading event NeXus data produces an axis mismatch.
    (saving/loading normal NeXus files seems to work well though)
    (if you save again the workspace into a new file, and compare the first loaded workspace with the second one, they match)
  • The tool bar button for the script window is not kept in sync when the script window is closed: #7551
  • Trying to edit the properties of empty 3D plots produces crashes (when deleting the source matrix), see #10713

These issues can also be reproduced in Ubuntu/Debian, they don't seem platform specific.
