Description (last modified by Jay Rainey) (diff)
This covers a few minor issues about the "Basic Search" interface
# Should we hide the temporary workspaces created? # The word KeyWords in the top right should be Keywords # The documentation (click help) shows an old picture which stills says ISIS in it. # There is no kind of validation on the interface itself. For example, if you just type a start run number and click search an algorithm runs which fails with an error about start should be less than end but this is not obvious from the interface itself. Our usual validation markers should be added.

This ticket is no longer valid as I have addressed the problems in other tickets. I believe it should be closed, so have marked it invalid.
Should we hide the temporary workspaces created?
This has been addressed in #7637. I have opted to hide them.
The word KeyWords in the top right should be Keywords
This no longer occurs in the new interface (#7637).
The documentation (click help) shows an old picture which stills says ISIS in it.
I have created a new ticket that will address documentation for the new ICAT interface within Mantid prior to the release (#8087).
There is no kind of validation on the interface itself. For example, if you just type a start run number and click search an algorithm runs which fails with an error about start should be less than end but this is not obvious from the interface itself. Our usual validation markers should be added.
Validation has been added on the new interface (#7637).
