SANS data reduction, says:

ASK GETPIXELCORRFILE WITHOUT ARGUMENT: + REAR-DETECTOR

Tester:

  • Open SANS ISIS
  • Select SANS2D instrument
  • load UserFile: systemtests/Data/SANS2D/MASKSANS2D.091A
  • select Scattering/Sample data systemtests/Data/SANS2D/SANS2D00002500.nxs
  • Execute: Run and 1DReduce
  • The strange line should not appear any more.

The confusing message is a warning to say that it does not recognize the name of the detector passed to the getCorrFile function. This is because this 2 names used in SANS2D detectors were lacking in the list of used names. There are many names used to identify these banks detector. What is not good at all...

Solve issue of strange warning message

Recognise the names given by SANS2D instruments for the bank detectors, and explain better the warning message.

Reduction proceeds as expected without the message. The warning message text has also been improved.
