Unable to delete custom menus from Manage custom menus

Description
In View -> Manage Custom Menus it would be expected that if you can create a new menu, you'd be able to delete it after you're finished, this functionality doesn't exist at the moment as it seems you cannot delete custom menus from within MantidPlot. They may be removable by editing config files, but this is not ideal.

To delete a custom menu simply highlight it and press the "<<" button.
This may have been fixed as part of #7614.

This is indeed a very quirky way of deleting something from the listing, but after a discussion with Peter about it I agree that this should be left. The whole interface for managing custom menus needs a reboot and a plan about how to do that should be made instead. Fixing this specific issue would be like putting a plaster on a broken leg.
