VSI Crash on View Switch

Description
- Load a MDWorkspace into the VSI
- Rebin it in the VSI, and while the rebinning is still processing, try to change the View Mode -> Crash
Observed on Windows 7 with Mantid 2.6.1. Haven't tried this on any other platforms. I've set this to blocker status as I think it's quite important to fix this if we can.

Try the SXD MDWorkspace generated by the SXD_NaCl.py script in the Vates subdirectory of scripts. If you're still having problems reproducing it, I'll ask Mike to re-check it on his machine, where we originally saw the bug.

I've tried this on my Mac with v 2.6.1, and can't get it to crash.

Using the script above I still cannot reproduce the crash on either Windows or Ubuntu using master or 2.6.1. I observe that while the rebinning is running, clicking on a view mode button never takes effect until after the rebinning is completed. I need more details about how the original crash was obtained.

Review and see if this should just be closed.
I tried this on Ubuntu 12.04 with the latest master and cannot reproduce the issue. I tried on Windows 7 with 2.6.1 and latest master and cannot reproduce the issue. Can you give any more specific information and/or datasets?
