Description

This is documenting issues seen with the SNAP instrument.

Hi Pete,

Antonio and I have come up with some issues with the new masking technique, and I'll
let him discuss them with you if he hasn't already. But I wanted to quickly show you
the effect I'm seeing that's most detrimental. If you look at the attached, It seems
that the mask from one d-range is interfering with that of another in the module
that's in the middle row, second column. Here, a bit of the mask from d=.5-.6 is
preventing the complete masking of the d=.7-.8 range. I can't think of why this
would occur, but you can imagine that as these overlaps add up, the resultant mask
is missing quite a lot.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jamie
