Description (last modified by Peter Parker) (diff)
Richard would like a (script-able) way to carry out the reduction on a "tube-by-tube", or "by-section" basis, sections being arbitrarily-defined parts of a detector bank.
Some thought will be required here, as it is unclear at the moment what the best way to approach this is.

- Summary changed from Allow Unmasking in Instrument View to Reducing By "Tube" or Some Arbitrary Section of a Detector Bank
Morphed this ticket into an alternative feature, since "unmasking" using the Instrument View is not something we will ever be doing.
I've set to backlog and lowered the priority for now, but this may well be next up on the scientists agenda so is subject to change.
