Description (last modified by Arturs Bekasovs) (diff)
Scientists pointed out that it might be a good idea to improve on or move away from the existing wizard model in a way that would allow them to skip certain steps. They would then be able to re-use the results of previous analysis sessions. E.g. if you already have saved the corrected data, you don't want to go through loading and baseline fitting again, but rather jump directly to the peak fitting.
We've discussed a possibility of switching to a "tab-based" design, in the way e.g. Indirect interfaces do. This might solve the problem, but make it much less obvious what an expected sequence of actions is.
Scientists mentioned that Origin application does a good job for that. Should probably look into that.
This is a ticket for investigating the possibilities, agreeing on one with scientists and creating necessary tickets for implementing it. The mock-up would be the first thing to do.
