Works well on 1D plot, but there is an issue on 2D colour maps.

When you zoom in to the plot it zooms in on all axes - including the colour map.

The colour map needs to be excluded from the zoom.

I've taken the zoom control code from the new version of Qtiplot and the zoom control zooms the colormap in Qtiplot.
