Description

Improve the performance of unit tests in batches. Assigned to Owen Arnold as part of the 3.3 release maintenance window. This is an umbrella ticket to keep track of the individual batches owned by individual developers.

(In #10151) Not realistically going to get done for the 3.3 release. This is however linked to the work that Owen and Pete have done (are doing) the ground work for in #10471

We managed to speed the unit tests up by about 4 minutes in this release!

All unit tests should still pass, as we weren't compromising on coverage.
