Description (last modified by Anders Markvardsen) (diff)
Algorithm for calculating the Fourier transform of a muon time serier in a muon specific way. This algorithm is likely to be based on UDA (Fortran) code which perform this operation.
Initial step is to understand in enough detail what is meant by 'muon specific way'.

This ticket is now rather old.
This since ticket was created a number of Fast Fourier algorithms have emerged. These are generic FFT also works on muon data. I have passed information about these to muon scientists.
