Can the FitPropertyBrowser not listen to all ADS updates?

Description

Currently, even if you do absolutely nothing with fitting, the FitPropertyBrowser decides to do things with your new workspace. Is it possible to have it only do these things when people are actually fitting? Would a isVisble() check be enough?
