Description
From Doug Abernathy
It’s not urgent but I wanted to pass on an observation of some bugs in displaying the instrument detector array I found in using MantidPlot. I am looking at ARCS data at the SNS and I don’t know if this is common to other instruments.
Looking at the Full 3D rendering of the ARCS detector array, everything looks good. When I go to the Cylindrical Y view then there are a couple of odd things:
- The two shorter detector packs above and below the beam seem to overlap with an adjacent detector pack.
- Using the pick tool to look at individual pixels, it seems like all the packs have the top two pixels displayed at the bottom. It’s almost like the first two pixels in the lower left corner aren’t displayed, and then all the other ones get off and end up shown at the bottom of the next pack.
Since there isn’t usually any data in the end pixels it is hard to tell if they are truly off or just not labeled correctly.
