Description
From Tom Griffin:
I’ve just installed the RC of Mantid 2.5 on a fresh 64-bit Windows 7 PC (never had Mantid on before)
On starting MantidPlot, the Results Log displays the red messages below. I don’t remember seeing this last time I used Mantid.
On starting MantidScript I get 4 error popups – see below. Two for PocoFoundation64.dll, two for MantidKernel.dll

Change History

The screenshot shows that the plugins directory has two very out of date libraries (MDEvents & Nexus), which have since been moved to bin.

- Status changed from new to verify
- Owner changed from Martyn Gigg to Nick Draper
- Resolution set to wontfix
This was an effect from installing Mantid over a really old version.
The solution for cases like this is:
- uninstall
- delete installation directory
- reinstall

A test on a completely clean win7 pc passed just fine. So I guess that we must be interferring with some other installed program on Tom's PC.
