AutoUpdate column not working in windows

Description

Alex found that the AutoUpdate column (a checkbox to enable/disable auto update) is not working at all. You cannot interact with it in Windows.

I've tried the last version from the download site, which has the fix of #6923 and I could not find the error described at this ticket.

I still have this problem on my machine though couple of other machines are seems to be OK

Let's assume that my machine is really odd case.
