Reflectonomy quick script is producing different data

Description

The Refelctonomy script is producing different output than it used to. This may be due to Owen's edits and may be correct but as a system test for these needs to be created, it needs checked

The observed difference seems to be in the region of -0.0002

Verify if the new output is correct and fix if it isn't

This will get tested in due course anyway by the scientists.

(In #8514) #8523 and #8527 no longer block as checks have been done (and finer tests will be done by scientists) and the POLREF issue is being delegated to another ticket while we wait
