I ran on RHEL6 and OSX Mountain Lion (10.8). I've logged the following issues:

I could not test ICAT searching (except via Load) and downloading since those options are not available at SNS.

I see that the 3D wire plots I did of matrix displayed an unused colour scale at the side.

Config/Properties window determined to be the dialog box with "Choose default settings" as the title.

If one attempts to make the dimension of a matrix too large, it does nothing. It should give a message indicating that the dimension is too large to handle. Ticket #7596 created for this.

Testing done using Ubuntu 12.04.

Issues of mixed priorities were revealed. Tickets created: #8315, #8316, #8318, #8319. Another problem was appended to #8198.

I forgot how to create matrices etc. I had to ask after finding that the help is of no use for this. It is orientated towards algorithms.

It is done via File->New.

In the course of testing graph manipulation I found I could hide an axis, but have been unable to reverse this operation. This might be because the area of the graph that right clicks to produce the menu has gone or become too small.

In the ICAT search, I found I could not type in any date, but could select the date via the button on the right.

The Preferences refers to the background of Mantidplot as the workspace, which means something else in the context of Mantid.
